Vegoose Preparation
Countdown to Vegoose is on! LAist is so excited for this year's performances and to see what Vegoose has to offer. Check out the video on highlights from last year (including an on-site Wedding Chapel, let's hope the gin isn't free flowing or we might be in trouble!)
We're expecting quite the mixed crowd, ranging from hippies to rock stars, people in Halloween costumes and just about everything in between so get ready for great updates and a "best of" photo gallery to follow! Being a festival and all, it's always good to know what you can and what you can't bring. Read on to see the list from their Web site for you to pack accordingly.
You may bring the following items inside Sam Boyd Stadium. All items are
subject to search:
Blankets
Stadium seats (chairs without legs)
Sealed water bottles
Non-professional cameras (professional cameras = any camera with a
detachable lens)
Medium to small size backpacks
Hats
Sun Block
Audio taping equipment
Strollers with child inside
The following items are not allowed in Sam Boyd Stadium. Other items may
be prohibited at the discretion of the festival and stadium staff:
No weapons of any kind
No fireworks
No illegal substances
No vending of any kind will be allowed
No glass containers
No cans
No pets
No alcohol (alcohol will be for sale inside to persons 21+ with proper ID)
No video recording
No picnic baskets
No ice chests
No outside food
No umbrellas
No flags or poles
Damn, we hate leaving our flag pole at home. Almost makes us rethink the whole trip. At least they didn't say anything about dodgeballs, (yes!) still in business!
