1. The Los Angeles Book Arts Center's annual Edible Book Tea Party on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Everyone who’s interested – book artists, book lovers, foodies, children – is invited to participate by cooking up a book out of ingredients that can be found in any grocery store. 2. Thai Lunar New Year Celebration. Thai Town: Between Western and Kingsley Drive on Sunday, April 3rd. Admission at the all-day cultural festival is FREE, with booths offering Thai food, beverages and souvenirs for purchase.
For the festival in Los Angeles, on Sunday, April 3, Hollywood Boulevard will remain closed between Western Avenue and Kingsley Drive so avoid that area if you are driving.
