Wilshire Crest among 20 schools that lost art teachers during winter break
LA Unified transferred arts teachers to different schools mid-year due to student enrollment changes. Forty schools gained access, 20 lost teachers.

The music program at his school Wilshire Crest Elementary was cut due to low enrollment numbers. Public school students in Los Angeles are back from their winter break. They're tackling things like algebra assignments and history lessons. But KPCC's Mary Plummer says there's something hundreds of elementary kids won't get.
