Refugees from Myanmar, formerly Burma, are learning English at a late age so they can gain U.S. citizenship. But it isn't easy, even for some that have been in the U.S. for several years.

Trying to learn a new language is a challenge, particularly for people in their 60s and 70s.

That's the scenario for many senior refugees resettled in Phoenix.
