New study shows organic foods are more nutritious than nonorganic
There's a new study out of Washington State University that's come to the conclusion that organic fruits and veggies are actually healthier for you than conventionally grown food.
Avocados are labelled with the European Union's logo for organic food on February 15, 2012 at the BioFach trade fair for organic products in Nuremberg, southern Germany. Food products classified as organic in the European Union or the United States can be sold as such in either region after a deal between the two major trading blocs. The agreement, signed in the southern city of Nuremberg between top officials from both sides, seeks to boost trade in the fast-growing organic food industry, valued at more than $50 billion (38 billion euros) combined.

There's a new study out of Washington State University that's come to the conclusion that organic fruits and veggies are actually healthier for you than conventionally grown food. While this might sound like the headline from every one of your activist friend's forwarded e-mails, it actually might be true.

On the line to explain is Chuck Benbrook who co-authored the study.
