Typical IVF procedures are costly, as much as $10,000 or more for a single cycle of in vitro fertilization. That makes it hard for many people to even consider it as an option. Professor Jonathan Van Blerkom is with the University of Colorado, Boulder, and he's credited with developing this new simplified system.
