It could now be a little tougher for misinformation to spread on Facebook, thanks to a new feature the company announced yesterday. Slate's Will Oremus joins Take Two to explain.
Facebook said it will now let users pick someone who can manage their account after they die. Previously, the accounts were "memorialized" after death, or locked so that no one could log in.

Social media has made it so much easier for people to share news and information. It's also made the spread of fake news and hoaxes a lot more likely. But it could now be a little tougher for misinformation to spread on Facebook, thanks to a new feature the company announced Tuesday.
