One American Indian couple sues to allow the adoption of their child

Making the decision to give a child up for an adoption is an incredibly difficult decision for any parent to make. 

But for one family - there is an additional concern that few others have to think about.

The biological family is American Indian, and there are federal and state rules that block or prevent adoption of a Native American child by a family that is not Native American.

Because of this, the natural parents have filed a lawsuit challenging the laws, and we'll find out more from their attorney, Mark Fiddler.
