The Derby Dolls were pushed out of their facility due to redevelopment and struggled to find a new home. Skater Edie Lundeen, aka Vodka Toxic, of the LA Derby Dolls joined the show to explain.

Roller derby has been enjoying a resurgence for the past 15 years. And LA has played a pivotal role in that resurgence. The city's banked track league, the LA Derby Dolls, was one of the first to form in the recent roller derby revolution. 

But the city poses some logistical challenges for this DIY sport thanks to the high cost of real estate. The Derby Dolls were pushed out of their facility due to redevelopment and struggled to find a new home. Skater Edie Lundeen, aka Vodka Toxic, of the LA Derby Dolls joined the show to explain more.
