The new film "Far from the Madding Crowd" is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Hardy, written in 1874. 

The book, and the film, center on a young woman named Bathsheba Everdene, played by actress Carey Mulligan. 

Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg joins Take Two to talk about bringing a tale more than a century old to life on-screen.
