Viggo Mortensen, known for his acting role in the Lord of The Rings trilogy, made his directorial debut this year with the new film “Falling.” The film, although fictional, draws inspiration from Mortensen’s own life. It examines the dynamic of father/son relationships driven by both generational and geographic divides.  Mortensen wrote, directed and starred in the film in addition to composing its score. KPCC’s John Horn talked with Mortensen about the film at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. “Falling” is available now on video on demand platforms.
