Kings' Stanley Cup win, and since it wasn't Rob Ford, everyone took notice ... from KPCC's AirTalk to the L.A. Times to any 10-year-old who will learn quickly that just because the mayor did it, they can't do it.

Some said it was spontaneous. Some believed it was calculated to make him seem a man of the people. Some loved it. Some hated it.
