Suzanne Levy
I’ve been in charge of several beats in the newsroom, but I have to confess, these are my favorites. LA has an amazingly diverse food culture (often overlooked by the rest of the world), is the heart of all things entertainment, and contains a multitude of fascinating things to unpack (that UFO-looking structure in the middle of LAX is not an alien base, I promise).
I’m a native Brit, but have lived here for many years, previously working on public radio’s Marketplace and Weekend All Things Considered, as well as on TV shows for History channel, PBS and Discovery.
I love L.A. for its glorious views, constant sunshine and the ability to go to the store in flip flops and a fleece without anyone batting an eye. You can find me at the beach, on my bike or tracking down really good chocolate.
