Israeli shock rock troupe Monotonix (LAist Review) are poised to take on the Smell in Downtown. And, lastly, San Diego-bred DJ the Gaslamp Killer will be on the decks at the Roxy. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch Brooklyn-based indie pop outfit Chairlift (LAist Review). LAist's favorite, predominantly electronic one-woman-band Glasser is slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight NY-based alternative rock trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs (LAist Review) will be headlining the Pomona Fox Theater. English alternative rockers Arctic Monkeys are poised to take on the Hollywood Palladium with local pop rockers the Like. London's own indie pop act Fanfarlo will be gracing the Troubadour with Raleigh-bred lo-fi pop outfit Love Language. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch Portland-based indie rockers Nurses, who will be opening for none other than Seattle's own pop quartet Throw Me The Statue. One of New Zealand's finest acts the Brunettes and local singer-songwriter Devon Williams are slated to perform as well.
  • Tonight local indie rock outfit Saint Motel (LAist Interview) will be continuing their month-long residency at Spaceland with none other than Austin's own the Black and White Years and Hollywood-bred duo Divisible. The unnecessarily abrasive Buddyhead-backed rock act known as the Icarus Line is poised to take on the Silver Lake Lounge. Local folk singer-songwriter Frank Fairfield will be performing at the Redwood Bar & Grill in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch alt-country troubadour Leslie and the Badgers. LAist favorites Olin & the Moon (LAist Interview) are slated to kick things off.
  • This week legendary Poway-bred pop punk outfit Blink 182 will be headlining the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater with none other than Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Asher Roth. And, lastly, local psych-infused folk rockers Eagle Winged Palace will be graving the Echo early for this week's edition of Grand Ole Echo. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Hollywood Bowl to catch Grammy Award-nominated Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto, who will be sharing the stage with none other than Brazilian singer-songwriter Seu George.

But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch Raconteurs guitarist, Michigan-bred singer-songwriter Brendan Benson.
  • Tonight Grammy Award-nominated Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto will be sharing the stage at the Hollywood Bowl with none other than Brazilian singer-songwriter Seu George. Brooklyn's own punk rock trio Vivian Girls are poised to take on the Echo with the Beets. And, lastly, Seattle-based indie rockers Spanish For 100 will be performing at Mr. T's Bowl. But we strongly suggest heading over to Largo at the Coronet to catch local multi-instrumentalist/producer extraordinaire Jon Brion, who will be jamming with friends of course.
  • Tonight Cleveland-bred industrial rockers NIN will be closing out their final date of their final tour at the Wiltern. LA-based "fancy pop" songstress Obi Best (LAist Interview, Review, #2) is poised to grace Edgar Varela Fine Arts in Downtown. And, lastly, local experimental electronic duo Hecuba will be performing at the Echo with the equally exploratory Echo Park-bred electronic outfit Rainbow^Arabia. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Bootleg Theater to catch Chicago's own alt-country troubadour Cass McCombs. LAist favorites, San Francisco-based alt-pop act Girls.
  • Tonight local classical-violinist-turned-singer-songwriter Emily Wells will be headlining the Echo. Stockholm-based Logh front man Mattias Friberg is poised to grace the Hotel Café. And, lastly, Austin's own indie rockers Loxsly will be performing at the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to get into the Troubadour to catch local noise-infused rock outfit HEALTH, who will be concluding their short-lived stint opening for NIN tomorrow at the Wiltern. LAist favorites, Culver City-based "Ambassador of Boogie Funk" DâM-FunK and Denver-bred experimental electronic musician Pictureplane are slated to kick things off.
  • Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini will be headlining the Wiltern. Local noise-infused rockers HEALTH will not only be opening for NIN a second time—this time at the Wiltern—but they will also be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Troubadour. Chicago's own alt-country troubadour Cass McCombs is poised to take on the Bootleg Theater with none other than San Francisco-based alt-pop act Girls. And, lastly, Raconteurs guitarist, Michigan-bred singer-songwriter Brendan Benson will be gracing the Troubadour.
