A bishop from the OC has been arrested on charges of molesting a child in his congregation, reports ABC News. Bishop Oscar Perez Perez, 68, was taken into custody after the boy told his mother about an incident with the bishop. It's unclear whether the molestation happened once, or was ongoing, and the child's age also hasn't been released, although authorities are saying he's under the age of 12.

A five-hour stand-off ended early this morning when SWAT team members fired tear gas into a Reseda home, reports the Daily News. The officers were there after LAPD responded to a call at around 8:00 p.m. yesterday about a domestic disturbance. A 38-year-old man, whose name hasn't been released, barricaded himself into the home and his girlfriend fled, later being interviewed by police.

Heavy rainfall may have been the culprit in the death of an 11-year-old girl who was killed yesterday after being struck by a boulder during a hike in San Bernardino, reports ABC News. The girl, whose name hasn't been released, was hit on the head by the falling rock while hiking near a waterfall at Forest Falls. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
