My job is to deliver up-to-date coverage of the day’s biggest stories.
My favorite assignments are ones that take me out of the office and into ‘the field’ to hear people tell their stories. I’ve covered many local news stories including wildfires, the LAUSD teachers’ strike and the passing of Kobe Bryant.
My first radio job was as an intern in this newsroom and since then I’ve had several positions here and at Marketplace, a daily business and economic news show.
I was born in Washington state but made my way to Los Angeles close to 7 years ago and I’ve loved the opportunity to get to know this vibrant and complex city.
