'Power. Passion. Purpose.' Parking? LA Pride Takes Over WeHo This Weekend

LA Pride's 2011 Parade Route Map (via LA Pride)

The theme to this year's Christopher Street West's LA Pride event is "Power. Passion. Purpose." For many, the highlight is the big parade, which takes place Sunday morning in the heart of West Hollywood.

The festival, however, is all weekend long, and features entertainment, exhibitors, food and drink, and more. Things get underway tonight with the kickoff "Purple Party," and the WeHo Dyke March. For a great guide to all the Pride events, WeHo Patch has put together a "Complete Guide" to the festivities.

This year, Pride is taking place within West Hollywood Park, on San Vicente Blvd. from Santa Monica Blvd. to Melrose Ave, because of construction and renovation being done by the City of West Hollywood.

Whether you're looking to plan out how you'll get to the fest, or if you need to know how the fest's street closures might affect how you navigate West Hollywood, check out the parking, transit, and street closure information provided by the City of West Hollywood:
