Madonna's "highly psychotic" Stalker Wandered Off From State Hospital Last Week, Is Still At Large [UPDATED]

UPDATE 10:29 AM: This morning around 9 a.m., law enforcement officials apprehended Hoskins not too far from Metropolitan State Hospital, and he is being transported back to the facility, says the LAPD.------
In 1996, Robert Dewey Hoskins was convicted of stalking superstar singer and actress Madonna, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Last week, Hoskins managed to walk away from a state hospital in Norwalk, and remains at large today.
Hoskins once "scaled a wall around Madonna's Hollywood Hills estate and threatened to cut the singer's throat," explains City News Service. He was released to Atascadero State Hospital after serving his sentence, where he was classified as a "mentally disturbed offender." A year later, he was arrested again, and this time sent to the Metropolitan State Hospital.
Now, the Los Angeles Police Department are looking for Hoskins. The LAPD say he is "highly psychotic" when he is off his meds, and should be considered dangerous.
Madonna testified in 1996 that she had nightmares about Hoskins being on her property. The superstar said her bodyguard told her Hoskins had said "he was there to take [Madonna] away ... that [she] was supposed to be his wife, that if he couldn't have [her], he was going to slice [her] throat from ear to ear.''
Hoskins was busted on her property after scaling the wall and eventually jumping into her pool.
The LAPD asks that if anyone knows Hoskins' whereabouts to get in touch with them immediately.
