STEVE INSKEEP, host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

They love him at party time. They regret it in the morning. Miami Beach, Florida, is cracking down on a bird, a rooster called Mr. Clucky, perches on his owner's bicycle. He's the subject of tourist photos. The bird was even the grand marshal of a parade known as the King Mango Strut. But authorities ordered him out of town. They ticketed owner Mark Buckley for keeping a farm animal because people tired of the rooster crowing at 6 in the morning.

It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
