Clinton Challenges Obama to Bowling Throwdown
Reporters could be forgiven for thinking it might be the moment Hillary Clinton would answer the big question in Democratic politics. Amid suggestions that she leave the campaign, she walked into a news conference Tuesday. She somberly told reporters it had been a "hard-fought race," and that she needed to "do something so that our party and our people can make the right decision."
It isn't clear when it became evident that it was an April Fools joke. Instead of withdrawing, Clinton challenged Barack Obama to a bowling contest.
Obama recently made a campaign stop where he bowled a 37 — out of a possible 300.
So the Democratic contest goes on — another contest with a possible score around 300. That's roughly the number of superdelegates who have not publicly chosen a candidate.
