Topline:

Calling all FIFA fans — the 2025 Club World Cup is looking for volunteers for a series of summer matches at the Rose Bowl.

Why it matters: Thirty-two teams will play at a dozen venues across the country for a chance to be crowned the Club World Champions in July. You can volunteer to help with anything from fan operations to uniforms and team services.

Why now: FIFA put a call out for volunteers in the Los Angeles area on Wednesday ahead of the six matches scheduled for the Pasadena stadium in June.

The details: To be eligible to volunteer, you must be:

  • At least 18 years old as of Jan. 1
  • A U.S. or permanent resident
  • Able to speak English, but other languages are a bonus
  • Able to attend in-person recruitment and training
  • Able to commit to at least eight shifts
  • Able to pass a name check and criminal history review

You can apply here, and if you’re accepted, you’ll get an official volunteer uniform and a certificate, as well as meals and drinks during your shifts.

What's next: The FIFA Club World Cup starts June 15 when Paris Saint-Germain takes on Atlético de Madrid at the Rose Bowl. Next year, FIFA will return to Southern California for the World Cup, including the U.S. Men’s National Team opening match at SoFi Stadium.
