Truck crash on 210 Freeway blocks lanes, halts Gold Line service in Pasadena
If you planned to take Metro's Gold Line through Pasadena this morning, you'll have a hitch in your trip.
About 1:30 a.m. Thursday, a Fedex truck traveling westbound on the 210 Freeway near Lake Avenue collided with another truck and crashed through the center divider. The trailer landed on the tracks, sprinkling packages and debris, blocking them in both directions.
Metro has suspended train service between the Memorial Park and Allen stations and has brought in buses to get passengers through the route.

Metro spokesman Rick Jager said overhead wires that supply power to the trains were damaged as a result of the crash.
"Metro staff will assess the damage to Gold Line tracks and power supply equipment and will know more once the truck can be removed," Metro said in a statement.
The wreck was also blocking lanes on the westbound 210,
The driver of one of the trucks was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries, according to our media partner, NBC Los Angeles.
