SoCal gasoline prices averaging $4 a gallon (map)
Gasoline prices are averaging more than $4 for a gallon of self-serve regular Wednesday in Southern California. Prices at this Newport Beach station are slightly above the Orange County average of $4.02.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was $4.03 Wednesday. The price has not changed for two days.
The Automobile Club of Southern California reported the Orange County average price was also unchanged at $4.02 a gallon. But prices in Riverside and San Bernadino counties dropped slightly Wednesday to an average of $4.01 for a gallon of self-serve regular.
