Scientists gather in Glendale to rate possible 2020 Mars Rover landing sites
The gathering was the culmination of a years-long process that whittled down a much longer list.
Two hundred scientists concluded three days of discussion and debate at a hotel in Glendale trying to figure out where the next Mars Rover should land.

The Mars 2020 Project at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory brought the scientists together to get their feedback on the final four possible sites: Columbia Hills, Jezero, Northeast Syrtis, and a relatively late-in-the-game contender called Midway.
NASA is expected to announce where the next Mars Rover will land by the end of this year.
