Sandra Bullock files for divorce, adopts baby boy
Oscar winner Sandra Bullock has filed for divorce and adopted a baby boy, People magazine is reporting.
Bullock told People in the issue set to hit stands Friday that she has filed for divorce from husband Jesse James, though she did not disclose where the court papers were filed. The two have been married about five years.
The actress also said that she adopted Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born in New Orleans about 3 1/2 months ago. Bullock and James – he has three children from two previous unions – started the adoption process about four years ago.
"He's just perfect. I can't even describe him any other way," she told People. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."
