Mexican pro wrestling star Perro Aguayo Jr. dies at 35 after match with Rey Mysterio Jr.

Mexican pro wrestling star Perro Aguayo Jr. has died after a match last night in Tijuana with Rey Mysterio Jr., according to the AAA wrestling organization. Aguayo was 35 years old.
He was the son of wrestling star Perro Aguayo and took his name when he started wrestling as a teenager. The Wrestling Observer reports that Perro Aguayo Jr. apparently hurt himself in the wrestling ring's ropes while getting ready to take one of Mysterio's signature moves, the 619. It appears to have been a freak accident.
Others believed that Aguayo had suffered a concussion and would be fine, the Observer reports, but he died at a Tijuana hospital.
Southern California pro wrestler TJ Perkins, aka Manik, was also in the match at the time Aguayo was injured.
Mysterio had been set to appear at WaleMania in Santa Clara on Thursday with rapper Wale, days ahead of Wrestlemania. Mysterio recently left WWE.

Mysterio tweeted his reaction (translated from Spanish):
"Just formed a friendship between brothers who opened years ago, and we should not question the designs of God. But on this occasion I wonder why and I do not understand; miss you and I will take [you] with me the rest of my life, rest in peace [Perro Aguayo Jr.]," Mysterio wrote.
