Orange County travelers can hop on FlyAway bus to LAX
Orange County travelers have one more option this Thanksgiving. They can park in Orange County and grab a FlyAway bus to LAX. Los Angeles and Irvine officials today officially inaugurated the service.
The Irvine-to-LAX FlyAway bus has actually been up-and-running for about a week now.
Travelers who don’t want to drive up to LAX can park at the Irvine train station, pay a one-way $25 fare, and catch a nonstop bus ride to LAX. This is the first FlyAway stop in Orange County.
Officials expect the Thanksgiving holiday at LAX to be a little busier than last year. They predict nearly 1.5 million passengers will have passed through the airport from last Friday through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That’s up about 1 percent from last year.
Wednesday and Sunday will be the busier days during the Thanksgiving season.
