LAPD report shows that arrests of homeless people are up
The data also showed an increase in the number of homeless people who were victims of crimes. That all comes as the homeless population in LA continues to grow.
A new Los Angeles Police Department report on homelessness and mental illness shows an uptick in arrests of homeless people for misdemeanors in the first quarter of this year as compared to the same period of time last year.
The report also showed a 14% increase in the number of homeless people who were victims of crimes. That all comes as the homeless population in L.A. continues to grow.
