LA's freeway-crossing mountain lion P-55 has died
The puma known as P-55 earned his claim to fame by crossing the 101 freeway twice. That's a feat that few animals in the Santa Monica mountains accomplish even once. Park officials suspect he died during the intense heat wave earlier this month.
