LA County officials launch new mobile-friendly election website
Just in time for the November election, the Los Angeles County registrar-recorder/county clerk has launched a new voter-friendly website.
According to the registrar-recorder's office, the new site is easier to navigate on both mobile devices and desktop computers. Los Angeles County residents can use it to register to vote or to check their voter status. Polling locations and sample ballots will also be posted on the site.
“We need to recognize that having a user-friendly website is essential in an age where more and more people use the internet as their primary source of information and the first point of contact with the RR/CC,” said Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, Dean Logan in a written statement.
The deadline to register for the Nov. 4 election is Oct. 20. The website is available at LAvote.net.
