LA City Council Votes To Ban Landlords From Rejecting Housing Vouchers

Housing vouchers can be a lifeline for people struggling to afford sky-high rents in Los Angeles.

But a recent study found that most landlords in the city won’t even consider renting to someone getting government help to cover their rent. On Tuesday, local lawmakers voted to change that.
