LA Apartment building rocked by explosion
An explosion rocked an apartment building in the Crenshaw District today, but no injuries were reported, according to police.
The explosion at 3945 Hillcrest Dr. was reported to police about 4 a.m., said Sgt. Robin Richards of the Los Angeles Police Department's Southwest Division.
"The explosion impacted at least two apartments on an upper floor, but there were no reports of injuries at the scene," he said.
LAPD officers were carrying out an investigation to determine what caused the blast, Richards said.
