Kelly Thomas Trial: Judge says officers' personnel files must be turned over
The judge in the Kelly Thomas trial ruled Friday that portions of the personnel records belonging to two former Fullerton officers charged for beating a homeless man to death must be turned over to prosecutors and defense lawyers, reports the L.A. Times.
Prosecutors had filed a motion December 18 seeking access to the records. The judge gave Fullerton’s city attorney a week to challenge the decision.
