Hollywood Bowl ticket prices and parking to increase

You could soon be paying more for a night out at the Hollywood Bowl.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved increases to ticket prices and parking.
The cost of most tickets will go up from $1 to $10, depending on the section, time and type of event. A few ticket prices will remain unchanged — for instance, $1 tickets will still be available for Tuesday Classical, Wednesday Jazz and Thursday Classical performances.
General parking will go up from a minimum of $1 last season to $5 in the 2018 season, and the maximum parking cost will go up to $24 from $22. Valet parking will increase from $50 to $55.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association said the new prices will help offset increased production, labor, marketing and artists’ costs.
A lease between the L.A. Phil the the county requires supervisors' approval for all changes to ticket prices.
