Free Wi-Fi now on McDonald's menu
McDonald's is offering free Wi-Fi service at every single outlet in the United States, including 600 locations in Southern California.
McDonald's today turned on wireless Internet at its burger outlets in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
The Chicago-area hamburger chain has become the nation's leading provider of free, out-of-home Wi-Fi hotspots, said Neal Ruby, McDonald's owner/operator and president of the McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California.
The free Wi-Fi service has been set up at 11,000 restaurants nationwide, the company said.
