Free weekend? Bike East LA, bust out your ugly sweater and eat vegan

As the rain clears up and SoCal gets back to its sunny state, we've got just the right mix of weekend events to keep you entertained. From children's art exhibitions to candy cane cocktails, there's something sweet for everyone. Get ready for an ugly sweater contest, one massive bubble party and a trip to an '80s-themed dive bar. 

Here's everything you need to know: 


1. 'Deck the halls with ugly sweaters'

Sport your ugliest, cutest or gaudiest sweater in Santa Monica at Del Frisco's Grille's ultimate ugly sweater face-off. Get in the spirit of the holiday season and enjoy complimentary appetizers and a delicious candy cane cocktail. Expect original songs from Christmas carolers under bright lights and test your "A Christmas Story" movie trivia while mingling with new friends.

2. Spread your wings and bike to East L.A.

6. Food, fun and the holidays
