A vocalist for a boy band that broke up in 2004 was behind bars this morning on suspicion of felony domestic assault, according to police.

Jarell Damonte Houston, 24, remembered by some as J-Boog of the group B2K, was arrested Monday at his home, said Sgt. Richard Parks of the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Station.

He was arrested at his residence on suspicion of domestic assault, Parks said.

Houston, whose arrest was first reported by celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, was locked up this morning at LAPD's Pacific Station, a jailer said.

He was held on suspicion of a felony offense and is named in outstanding warrants stemming from driving offenses, with bail set at $66,354, according to jail records.
