FBI offers $25,000 reward for LAPD rookie wanted in Pomona murder
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the LAPD rookie officer wanted for a Pomona murder.
Officials have reason to believe that Solid has crossed state lines to avoid prosecution, said FBI Special Agent Scott Garriola.
"At this point we need to be careful that we don't just eliminate the possibility that he could be in Texas and only concentrate in Mexico and vice versa," Garriola said.
A warrant issued Thursday stated that Henry Solis' father helped him escape to Texas the same day he allegedly committed murder.
Solis spent time growing up in Texas and has family and friends in El Paso and Juarez, Mexico, according to Garriola. The FBI is working with officials on both sides of the border to find Solis.
Solis has a police and military background and is considered armed and dangerous.
