#Ham4Ham: Fans go ham with Lin-Manuel Miranda at the Pantages
Fans of the Broadway musical "Hamilton" enjoyed a performance Wednesday from the show's creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Miranda led a free live performance at 1 p.m. outside of the Pantages Theatre coinciding with the show's daily ticket lottery, alongside some special guests.
Miranda and members of the company performed a medley of California-themed songs.
"We're very excited to be in California. So Josh and the gang put this together just for you," Miranda said before they kicked off the medley.
Here is a video of the performance:

The street was flooded with fans anticipating Miranda's appearance beforehand.

Miranda is not a part of the Los Angeles-based version of the show, so his performance today was a rare one.
Earlier in the morning, Miranda surprised people waiting in line.
Fans can have their shot at $10 front row tickets daily with the musical's app, which offers a digital lottery. "Hamilton" will be showing at the Pantages through December 30.
