Dodgers TV to air on Charter starting Tuesday

Charter Communications customers can begin watching Dodgers games on television starting Tuesday.
The Dodgers TV network, SportsNet LA, will air on Charter Spectrum TV Select, the cable provider's most widely subscribed service tier, according to a joint statement from both companies and the Dodgers released late Thursday morning.
"The Dodgers are an iconic franchise and part of the fabric of the community. We are very excited to be bringing the Dodgers back to Charter customers in the L.A. area," said Charter president and CEO Tom Rutledge in the statement.
SportsNet LA broadcasts 160 live games each year, according to the statement. But many fans have been unable to watch because Time Warner Cable was the only major pay-TV provider to carry the channel. Charter said it would offer the channel last week after announcing it would purchase Time Warner Cable.
"We're thrilled that Dodger fans will now be able to watch SportsNet LA’s 24/7 Dodger programming on Charter's systems," Dodger president and CEO Stan Kasten said.
SportsNet LA will air on the following channels:

The network's Spanish-language telecasts and Korean-language Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) will also be available, according to the statement.
