Despite efforts, University of California students still going hungry
A new survey of University of California students finds that more than one in five skip meals or eat less to varying degrees because of finances. The data comes several years after UC began allocating millions of dollars to combat student food insecurity.
One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere.
