Blue Line service in the Long Beach area has been temporarily suspended due to equipment failure, transit authorities said Wednesday.
Travelers were experiencing up to 15 minute delays in the early morning hours as bus shuttles replaced train service between Willow Station and the Long Beach loop, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority reported on its blog.
Service remains uninterrupted between Will Station and 7th/Metro Sation.
Metro noted that service was expected to be restored by 2 p.m.
