Search warrants have been served in the Hollywood Hills murder investigation following a human head and severed body parts being found in Bronson Canyon below the Hollywood sign, according to the L.A. Times. CBS Los Angeles reports that an arrest has been made, but the Times reports that sources told them no arrests have been made.

When called for comment, LAPD Media Relations told KPCC they hadn't been notified of an arrest by detectives and couldn't confirm an arrest at this time.

KFI reports that detectives searched an apartment building and car in Hollywood Thursday and were questioning a man about the case. KFI cited LAPD officials.
