Antelope Valley housing project one step closer to reality
Dozens of LA residents came to speak at the LA County Regional Planning Commission meeting today. Advocates of the 20,000-home project 70 miles northeast of LA says it addresses the ongoing housing crisis with affordable homes. Critics say half a million dollars a piece doesn't count as affordable, and the long-distance commutes and the currently untouched land it will sit on raises environmental red flags.
