Angelyne's little pink Corvette — it's for sale

Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your year-end tax-deductible gift now.

What do you get the person who's finally ready to live their best life pretending to be Malibu Barbie? A hot pink Corvette owned by Angelyne, the buxom blonde billboard queen best known for tooling around Los Angeles in her one-of-a-kind coupe.

The blonde, D-list celebrity recently listed the car on eBay with an asking price of $11,000. As of Wednesday morning, bidding had driven the price up to $12,011.

Not a bad deal. According to the Kelley Blue Book, if you're buying a 2008 Corvette from a private party in the L.A. area, it'll generally cost between $12,000 and $15,000.

And that doesn't include a surcharge for Hollywood history. Per the eBay ad, Angelyne promises to personally autograph the corvette if the buyer wants. The auction ends Sunday at 8:15 p.m.

Sporting a license plate that reads "ANGELNN," the two-door car comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, rear-wheel drive, cruise control, airbags, air conditioning and black leather seats. It also boasts a brand new radiator and new tires. It does, however, have a whopping 190,000 miles on it.

In case you're worried, Angelyne will still have wheels. One of her friends tells LAist that Angelyne also owns two other Corvettes: a 2016 and a 2017 model.

The pink queen will keep rolling.

[An earlier version of this story incorrectly referred to Angelyne's car as a convertible. It is, in fact, a coupe.]
