210 Freeway in Pasadena to close for 55 hours this weekend
If you're driving through Pasadena this weekend, don't plan on driving on the westbound 210 Freeway.
The first of two 55-hour closures on the 210 will take place this weekend as a part of a $148.5 million pavement rehabilitation project, the state's Department of Transportation announced. Westbound lanes from Lake Avenue to Mountain Street will be fully closed, as well as the eastbound 134 connector to the 210 west.
This weekend's closure will be 10 p.m. Friday at through 5 a.m. Sunday. The second round of closures is planned for 10 p.m. July 29 through 5 a.m. Aug. 1.
Off-ramps from the westbound 210 at Marengo Avenue and Mountain Street and Walnut Street on-ramp will also be closed.
