Topline:

The application period starts today for Los Angeles County's Rent Relief Program.

Who it applies to: Eligible landlords in L.A. County who experienced financial setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic — mostly from tenants not being able to keep up with rent payments — can now apply for relief.

What applicants should know: More than $68 million is available through the program, but L.A. County's Department of Consumer and Business Affairs says funding will be prioritized for applicants who have experienced the most financial stress.
