More LA spots to try
  • Westside foodies will no longer have to pine over the “exotic grilled sausages” of Wurstküche, known to many as the sausage kitchen for its literal German translation. The popular downtown location in the historic Arts District will expand to its own Venice locale. The Westside digs will replace the newly departed Air Conditioned lounge on Lincoln Boulevard.

  • Ye Coach & Horses (Zach Behrens/LAist) The septuagenarian Ye Coach and Horses, beloved Hollywood watering hole, closed down for good a few months ago after a prolonged real estate battle, but like most old stars, there's always room for a comeback. The bar, however, won't be coming back in quite the same incarnation, but the new owners, Jared Meisler and Sean Macpherson, are "in the very early planning stages" for the bar's future, according...
