What's For Lunch? Fan Faves Shine Next Week at Starry Kitchen
We aren't shy about being fans of Downtown's Starry Kitchen, and next week is their one-year anniversary for going legit and opening up shop at the California Plaza. Midtown Lunch has the details about a fun week-long lunch promo next week that puts the power in the fans' hands. Each weekday will feature a popular menu item from the past year. Up for consideration right now are: MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY (Mon); SPICY “CRACK” KRAB CAKES (Tue); BRAISED COCONUT PORK BELLY (Wed); TAIWANESE FRIED PORK CHOP (Thu); and their infamous CRISPY TOFU BALLS (Fri). Use SK's blog or Twitter to tell them if there's something you're excited about or would rather see on the lineup; Midtown Lunch will be happy to "update you on the final menu by Monday."
Bonus: Thursday and Friday Starry Kitchen is open for dinner, too. And if you haven't had those Tofu Balls yet, what are you waiting for? Can we vote to have co-owner Nguyen Tran wear his banana costume while serving his balls, too?
