We Have Noodles Will Open Its First Brick And Mortar At Sunset Junction
It's out with the old, in with the new at the Sunset Junction stretch in Silver Lake. According to Eater LA , Berlin Currywurst, which arrived at the corner of Sunset and Hyperion in 2011, has closed, and Smorgasburg LA-favorite We Have Noodles will be replacing them.
We Have Noodles has been teasing about "something" big on their social media for weeks now:
The official opening date for the shop is unclear, though you can expect it to come this summer.
Chef Darren Sayphraraj, who helms the shop, is an L.A. native who spent time cooking in New York kitchens like The Nomad and The Modern before returning to L.A. and bringing his noodle concept to Smorgasburg LA and Feastly pop-ups. Sayphraraj was nominated for Zagat's 30 Under 30 in 2016.
LAist reached out to We Have Noodles, but did not hear back by time of publication.
We Have Noodles will be located at 3827 West Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake.
